What ingredients are in this Ambrosia salad? A lot of delicious things - that's what! Mandarin oranges, pineapple, coconut, cherries, and marshmallows - wow!
Some people enjoy them with nuts. Not everyone does. I don't have a preference. Sometimes, when I can, I even roast the nuts to give extra delicious flavor to this simple ambrosia salad. I used small white marshmallows in this salad, but I also like to use marshmallows with different fruit flavors and colors. Those are always very enjoyable and I love the brightness they bring. It's completely your choice!
This salad has many ingredients, and even though I don't add any sugar, the fruit brings a lot of sweetness to it. I have a special ingredient for my recipe - sour cream! With all the sweetness, the sour cream adds a creamy tang that balances it out. Greek yogurt would also be a great option. It really helps to prevent this fruit salad from being too sweet.
Each small taste is pure happiness. It's pure magic!
