Recipe for Baked Apple Fritters


Preheat the oven: Put parchment paper on a baking pan and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Collect Dusting of Ingredients: Mash the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking soda, and flour in a big bowl.
    For the Wet Ingredients: The applesauce, buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract should be mixed well in a separate bowl.
    Incorporate the liquid ingredients into the dry ones gradually while whisking continuously to combine the mixes. Add the apple dices and gently mix.
    Form: Fritter Dessert serving Drop batter by the spoonful onto the baking sheet, being sure to leave 2 inches of space between each dollop.
    After around 15 to 18 minutes in the oven, the fritters should be cooked all the way through and have a golden brown color. Allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet.
    Make a smooth mixture by mixing the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl. Set aside. If you want more cinnamon on top, pour the sauce over the fritters when they're cooked.
