Savory Cabbage Pancakes—A Delicious Take on a Traditional Recipe

Two, whip up some batter.
Flour, eggs, water, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper should all be combined with the veggies in the same bowl. Mix everything together by stirring. The ideal consistency of the batter to coat the veggies is a thick consistency that is yet simple to mix. Just add a little more water if it's too thick.

Third, put the oil in a big pan and set it over medium heat. Add 2-3 teaspoons of vegetable oil. To make the perfect pancakes, heat the oil till it sizzles when batter is added, but not to the point where it burns.

The Fourth Step: Make the Pancakes
Gently use the back of a spoon to push about 1/4 cup of batter onto the heated skillet, shaping it into a pancake. Two or three pancakes, depending on the size of your skillet, may be cooked simultaneously. Flip the pancakes over and cook for another three to four minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

Step 5: Clear and Present
Pancakes should be drained of excess oil by transferring them to a dish lined with paper towels after done. Continue with the rest of the batter, increasing the oil in the pan as necessary.

Serve with a garnish in Step 6.
Sprinkle some sesame seeds, chopped fresh herbs, or a little sour cream or yogurt on top of the pancakes. Soy sauce or any other dipping sauce of your choice would be a great accompaniment.

Achieving Your Goals:
The cabbage will cook more evenly and give the pancakes a crispier texture if cut thinly.
If you want to change up the batter's taste and texture, try adding zucchini or mushrooms. To increase the protein content, you may also use cooked bacon or shrimp.
Avoid crowding the pan by cooking in batches. Pancakes are more likely to cook uniformly and retain their crunchiness if fried in small quantities.
Different kinds:
Pancakes with Spicy Cabbage: For a little heat, season the batter with some chili flakes or hot sauce.
For a version that is gooey and cheesy, try adding ¼ cup of shredded cheese, such as cheddar or mozzarella, to the pancake batter.
For a gluten-free variation on these savory pancakes, try using gluten-free flour and tamari instead of soy sauce.
In conclusion, these Savory Cabbage Pancakes are an easy-to-make, tasty, and adaptable breakfast option. They are ideal for any meal or snack due to their crispy outside and soft inside. These pancakes are delicious on their own or topped with soy sauce, fresh herbs, or sour cream. Everyone will love them!
