Delicious Kielbasa Soup

Things needed:

4 cups of chicken broth, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 chopped onion, and 1 pound of kielbasa sausage
Two carrots, peeled and chopped; one can of diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz.
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Add 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika if you want it spicier.
Add seasonings of salt and pepper to taste.
For a creamier version, you may optionally add 1/2 cup of heavy cream.
As a garnish, some fresh parsley
Instructions:

Cook the kielbasa slices in a big skillet until they start to turn a golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes. Take out and put aside.
Toss in the minced garlic and onion in the same saucepan. Reduce heat and sauté until onion becomes transparent and aromatic.
Cook the carrots and potatoes for three or four more minutes, or until they absorb the flavors.
Add the chicken broth and chopped tomatoes, along with their juice. Sauce the mixture.
