Here’s why you should avoid boiling mashed potatoes in water.

Out of all the foods we eat, my kids really adore mashed potatoes. Almost daily, they ask for it. They are rather picky eaters, even though I try to feed them veggies and greens. I should make mashed potatoes at least a couple of times a week if I care about their nutrition. Everyone in my family, including my spouse and kids, loves mashed potatoes! On a regular basis, we consider methods to enhance its flavor. I came across a great suggestion from a TikTok user called Jourdyn, who goes by the handle @jeauxp, when I was exploring Instagram and TikTok extensively. "What else would go good with mashed potatoes?" I thought to myself. However, a great deal more seems to be there.

Jourdyn claims that the secret component is chicken broth or stock; the exact name is irrelevant. If left to my own devices, I would never have thought of it. In the past, I've kept my recipes really straightforward: boil potatoes in salted water, then mix with some butter and milk to produce a mashed potato dish. However, Jourdyn introduced me to a wide variety of flavors.
